Václav Potěšil, PhD

Václav first investigated machine learning & medical imaging to help doctors diagnose cancer a decade before it became practical. He holds a M.Phil from the University of Cambridge, funded by Microsoft Research, and a Doctorate (D.Phil) from the University of Oxford supervised by Prof. Sir Mike Brady and Dr. Timor Kadir, based at Siemens Molecular Imaging. He has gained work experience in leading R&D labs and companies across Europe, North and Latin America, and Japan. Prior to founding Optellum, he was a Global Product Manager at Hocoma AG (Zurich, Switzerland), the world leader in neuro-rehabilitation robotics.
