Linda Armstrong, MD

Linda Armstrong has led the Global Respiratory Development Unit at Novartis Pharmaceutical Co. since November 1, 2016. Prior to this role, she was the CMO and Head of Medical Affairs for the Novartis Cell & Gene Therapies Unit. Linda has had jobs of increasing responsibility in Clinical Development, Patient Safety and Medical Affairs, supporting numerous drug candidates at several large pharma companies. She received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and received her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Science from Harvard University. She is a Pulmonologist and was on the faculty at New York University School of Medicine prior to joining industry.
