Biography
John Sheridan is the Director of Research at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where he is focused on advancing basic science and translational research to develop nucleic acid therapies that could lead to a one-time cure for CF. Prior to joining the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, John worked at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute as a Program Director where he managed the cystic fibrosis research portfolio and co-developed the NIH Somatic Cell Genome Editing Program. John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Physiology.
