Anthony Flores

Anthony Flores is a Managing Director and the Head of Southwest Life Sciences & Healthcare within Silicon Valley Bank’s National Life Science Division. He joined Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in 2012 and oversees a client portfolio comprised of the over 300 of the region’s top life science & healthcare companies. Anthony and his team work closely with clients throughout the region to deliver a wide variety of financial and treasury management solutions as well as advise them on trends in the equity and debt capital markets. Anthony specializes in structuring and delivering complex non-dilutive debt facilities that provide his clients with additional liquidity to support a host of strategic initiatives including clinical R&D, strategic M&A, sales force expansion and product commercialization. In addition to providing growth capital financing, Anthony is a conduit for client access to the SVB platform with a focus on relationship products (private banking, global banking services, and SVB strategic advisory for public company buy-side engagements).

Anthony graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego with a double major in Finance and Business Administration and a minor in English. Anthony is married with 3 children and a Southern California native.
