Doug Evans

Doug is the CEO of Lungpacer Medical Inc., which is developing a novel Breakthrough Device designed to improved outcomes for critically ill mechanically ventilated patients. He was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of Kensey Nash (KNSY); acquired for $360M by Royal DSM, and prior to that at GE. He is a serial innovator and product development leader with over 85 issued US patents that cover dozens of products, including the Angio-Seal Vascular Closure Device, which have been used in over 15 million patients world-wide and generated greater than $4 billion in end-user sales. He has raised over $140 million for public and private companies. Doug serves as Board Member of Intact Vascular (peripheral vascular products) and WhiteSwell Medical (devices to treat acute pulmonary edema).
