Charles Hamilton

Charles Hamilton is a director and member of the Piper Jaffray healthcare investment banking team, focusing on medical technology companies. Hamilton has 14 years of healthcare investment banking and capital markets experience. He has advised public and private clients through a broad range of investment banking services, including sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions as well as equity, debt and convertible debt financings. Hamilton joined Piper Jaffray from Thomson Financial, where he was a senior investor relations consultant to publicly traded companies. He started his career as a member of the Chicago Board of Trade and a market-maker for commodities options contracts. Hamilton graduated from The University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology, and he earned a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in analytic finance and accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
